Shirley Hepplewhite February 1930 - March 2017 Nee - Manktelow
Shirley passed away this March after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
She is survived by her loving husband Roger, three children, David (Sue), Diane (Mary), Christopher (Marianne), her brother Robert (Anne), sister Lorraine, grandchildren Michael (Jules), Tricia (Jason), AJ, Drew and Abigail, as well as great-grandchildren Sam, Elliot, Lily and Zoe.
Over her lifetime Mom raised her family while crisscrossing the country from Montreal to Poco, east to Toronto and west again to Coquitlam. A devoted mother, Mom still found time to volunteer in many community organizations. Shirley enjoyed music, playing bridge, and birding. She especially loved her many trips with Roger. Mom always won at Scrabble but lost many years to Alzheimer's.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Cartier House for the loving care they provided over Mom's final years.
